For a long time, you felt alone. Apparently, when you could still barely walk, your mother left you, considering you as ‘cursed flesh’. Your father, who was a hopeless drunk and a disgraced ninja, would spend all the money sent by a family friend on drink and constantly beat you. One time, the beatings became so bad, that you became hospitalised for six months, with a gash shaped like a wing on your shoulder. It was then, although so young, you decided to run away from home. Your family were the distant, yet powerful relatives of the Hyuugas. Being the eldest daughter of your parents, the ‘King and Queen’ of the Nyuuka Clan, you received great education, and were blessed with many gifts. You were an amazing singer and guitar player, and with the right amount of chakra, you could use your voice as a weapon. Yet, apart from singing songs and addressing important people, you were a very quiet person.

Ever had a day that was going so well, and all of a sudden something hits really hard?
I was on the way to my folks place for dinner, when I recieved a text message from my father.

My grandmother had passed away.

I live in New Zealand, and since I haven't been back to England for almost 11 years, it hit me pretty rough. I'm mostly in shock at the moment, as it happened so suddenly. Also, my grandmother had been in remission from cancer for three years, I thought that she'd be around for a long while yet.

I decide to write this for the DA world to see, because I love her so much, and I know that she's at peace. I also decided to change the journal skin, thanks to 00alisa00, because it is very beautiful and touching.

R.I.P Grandma, love you so much, and I'll miss you heaps.
